| Beware of New Facebook Malware (Identified as Troj/Agent-XNN) Posted: 28 Aug 2012 09:19 AM PDT  Hell all users, if you're a constant facebook user who rely on email alerts to know when and what their friends do, beware ! because those users do risk getting their computers infected with malware. It's because now a days cybercriminals are relying on fake notifications to spread a offensive Trojan (virus). Message with subject : "Your friend added a new photo with you to the album," Message : "One of Your Friends added a new photo with you to the album. You are receiving this email because you've been listed as a close friend. View photo with you in the attachment"  There are fake emails designed to trick recipients into opening the attached file which allegedly contains a photo. But in reality, the attachment is not a picture, but a piece of malware identified as Troj/Agent-XNN. You should be aware by now that the social media site never sends the pictures posted online as attachments via email. That is why users are always advised to beware of shady-looking notifications. | Kim Dotcom Working on a Bigger and Better MegaUpload Posted: 28 Aug 2012 06:35 AM PDT  While the case against MegaUpload's owners may not be going so great, with the authorities constantly messing something up, at least the raid accomplished something, it wiped out MegaUpload off the face of the web. Or at least, that seemed to be the case until now, even if Kim Dotcom is ultimately successful in proving his innocence, MegaUpload would have to stay closed until the legal dealings are over and that means appeals and appeals of appeals. It's going to take years. But Dotcom may be bringing back MegaUpload sooner than anyone thought, or at least a version of MegaUpload. We already knew that he is working on MegaBox, the music service that's been in the pipeline for a while now. But this is something new, he's now talking about a new "Mega" service, Mega 2.0 if you will, which will be bigger and better than MegaUpload ever was. What's more, it's going to be a lot harder to take down as the emphasis seems to be on a distributed network. There aren't that many details at the moment, but Dotcom is inviting developers to request access to the upcoming APIs, which will be private during testing. "Developers get ready. The Mega API will provide incredible powers. Our API and your Mega tools will change the world," he said on Twitter where he has been very active ever since he had internet "privileges" handed back to him. "We are building a massive global network. All non-US hosters will be able to connect servers & bandwidth. Get ready," he added. | Getting Someones Email From Your Facebook Profile Posted: 27 Aug 2012 09:19 PM PDT  Hi all users, this is simple a tutorial on how you can get (extract) someone's email from Facebook when they don't display it in there info bar(profile), some people say its illegal since Facebook doesn't allow it but the power of yahoo can do it for you. How ? lets see. This only works with people you have in your friends list 1. First of all go to http://uk.yahoo.com/ and signup for a yahoo account. 2. When your finished with making the account go to your mail and click on contacts.  3. Then click on import contacts.  4. Facebook will pop up asking if you want to share your account details with yahoo click "OK".  5. It will import all your contacts after it is finished, it will say no contacts imported ignore this and click okay then it will redirect you to another page with all your facebook contacts and there emails underneath there name.
